Montessori Alondra Rooms: room tour through Pablo's room

Hello mommies and daddies!

One of our favorite things is, without a doubt, seeing the Alondra children's rooms that our moms and dads create with so much love and taking care of every detail for their babies, since the result is always amazing!😍

Today we want to give you a room tour of Pablo's room. His mother Sandra chose the Montessori Homy Carezza bed for him, a 70x140cm bed in the shape of a cabin, designed following the Montessori methodology. Do you know this methodology? Keep reading, we'll tell you more!

The Montessori methodology was created by Dr. María Montessori. It consists of giving more independence and autonomy to the little ones in their different daily tasks, especially at bedtime. Alondra's Montessori beds have been designed for this and, in addition, they are perfect to start the transition from the cradle/crib to the bed. Thanks to its ground-level design, children can access it on their own and go to sleep without the help of their parents. We indicate some of its benefits below:

  • They stimulate autonomy and independence. They allow the child to acquire greater autonomy from an early age (approx. 3 years), making it easier for him to discover his surroundings, since he can go up and down whenever he wants. In addition, the fact of being able to go to bed when you are sleepy facilitates autonomous decision-making. In addition, they are not only adapted to their size but also to their level of development.

Sandra's testimony:

“ I apply it with Pablo in many aspects and one of them is the @alondrababyrooms bed with which he is making contact so that, in September-October, he can finally leave the crib ”

  • They are safe . Since they are practically at ground level, there is no chance of the little one falling and getting hurt. In fact, you can play comfortably on it. Like Paul does!

  • They encourage learning . Montessori beds give them the freedom to move around the room and discover their surroundings, without the help of adults, thus encouraging autonomous learning. There are no barriers between the child and the bed.
