Co-sleeping cribs made of wood

Are you thinking of co-sleeping with your future baby? We recommend that you bet on one of our evolutionary cribs of wood, which will bring calm and warmth to the baby's stay. In addition, these cribs will accompany the newborn up to 5-6 years of age, since they can be transformed into a crib, bed/sofa and/or desk. To use for much longer!

Alondra's wooden bedside cots combine melamine, MDF and solid pine wood in their different parts. We have 2 sizes available: 60x120cm and 70x140cm.

The 70x140cm co-sleeping cots have increased usability and durability than any traditional crib. Apart from having a larger size, they give the option of practicing co-sleeping with your baby in a totally safe and comfortable way up to 3 years of age perfectly. However, they will be more difficult to move around the house.

As for the 60x120cm cribs, having a smaller size, they will be more comfortable to move around the house.

In the 70x140cm co-sleeping cots, parents will be able to enjoy co-sleeping until the baby is 3 years old (approximately), since that is the date on which the child must start sleeping alone to fully develop and give way to their process of parental independence.

On the contrary, the 60x120cm co-sleeping cots can only be used until the baby is 18 months old (approximately).

It is really important that the co-sleeping crib is well fixed to the parents' bed to prevent the baby from falling and to avoid possible accidents. Our 70x140cm co-sleeping cots incorporate simple systems to fix the cot to the parents' bed, allowing easy fastening, securing the baby and avoiding all kinds of accidents.

In addition, there can be no gap between the crib and the parents' bed. That is why the co-sleeping kit includes a mattress supplement, which can be placed between the crib and the bed or inside the crib. In this way, the crib will be well adhered by its side to the parents' bed. This way we make sure that the baby, no matter how much he moves, will not have enough strength to move the crib and the bed and fall through the hole.

No problem! You will simply have to lift the chest or the sofa to fix the straps under it, instead of fixing them on your bed base.

Alondra's co-sleeping cribs are evolutionary. It has several stages of different use that allow them to extend life. They become a crib, a desk, a sofa, a Montessori bed or a child's bed, depending on the model. Perfect to accompany all the stages of your baby!

In all our co-sleeping cots (both 60x120cm and 140x70cm) the bed base can be adjusted to 5 different heights. At Alondra we recommend using the same height as the mattress of your bed, so the baby will be at the same level as you.

Co-sleeping wooden cots for babies

Co-sleeping cribs are designed to practice safe co-sleeping with the baby. They are characterized by having a removable side (easy to remove) to be able to stick to the parents' bed. They include union tapes and different mattress heights, as well as a kit with a mattress supplement, so that the cot cannot move and so that it is at the same height and level as the large bed.

Once the baby can get out of the crib on his own (According to safety regulations), you can convert the co-sleeping crib into a junior bed or Montessori bed at ground level (depending on the model), so your baby can get in and out of your crib being totally protected from a fall. Even when you no longer use it as a junior bed, you can convert it into a sofa or a desk, to complete the junior room (depending on the model).
