Where and for which products can I hire this service?
The IN-HOME ASSEMBLY SERVICE is only available for large furniture items within mainland SPAIN and PORTUGAL.
Our PREMIUM SERVICE is carried out by professional assembly companies, with the same customer care you expect from Alondra. They will always call you a few days in advance to arrange a delivery date and time that suits you.
With this service, everything is included: we take care of everything, and if there’s any issue, you can contact our After-Sales Service, and we’ll resolve it.
• We bring your entire order to your home, including furniture and any other items in your order, such as textiles, decorations, mattresses, etc.
• We unpack it in the room of your choice.
• We assemble the furniture.
• We remove any leftover packaging, leaving everything clean.
With just a few clicks, your baby’s room will be ready to enjoy in a few weeks.
IMPORTANT
For returns, please do so before assembly. This service does not allow returns once the product is assembled.
VIP or PREMIUM services do not mean faster delivery; they only refer to the type of service: furniture delivery to your floor (VIP) or with assembly and packaging removal (Premium).
In fact, these services may take longer to deliver, depending on carrier availability and the destination of the order.
The delivery time will be indicated on the product page, after you confirm your shipping country. Please note that these are approximate times.
During sale seasons, Easter, summer, and Christmas, delivery dates may vary due to high demand with these furniture assembly companies.
Our PREMIUM IN-HOME ASSEMBLY SERVICE covers the entire mainland, except for the islands of Menorca, Ibiza, and Formentera. We’d like to, but we’re not yet able to ship to Ceuta, Melilla, and the Canary Islands.
If you live in the CANARY ISLANDS and make your purchase through EL CORTE INGLÉS, they may offer this assembly service additionally.
Other details about delivery with assembly
The room where you want the furniture assembled should be cleared for the installers to work comfortably.
Naturally, only furniture purchased from Alondra will be assembled.
We cannot dismantle, move, or remove other furniture you may have at home. Assembly does not include decorative items or accessories that require wall drilling or any electrical connections.
Scheduled delivery at your convenience!
Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) in the morning or afternoon. When the assembly company calls, let them know which days and times work best. This way, you won’t have to wait at home all day—just during your selected time slot.
Please pay close attention when your order arrives. It’s the time to check that the products are correct and in perfect condition.
If you need to change the agreed delivery date, don’t worry; you can do so as long as you give at least 72 hours’ notice to the carrier via the phone or email provided during their call.
Important:
Make sure to be home on the agreed delivery day and inform us of any potential access issues to your residence.
If delivery cannot be made due to the customer’s absence or previously unreported access difficulties, additional charges may apply for redelivery and even storage fees based on market rates.
To avoid this, please notify any changes or unforeseen circumstances with 72 hours’ notice, and another date or time will be arranged.
Prepared in case something goes wrong
If you notice any damage at the time of delivery or installation, please notify us in writing before signing, or within 24 hours by emailing postventa@alondra.es.
To help us resolve the issue:
• Clearly state any issues on the installer’s delivery slip.
• Take photos of the affected product and attach them to your email. Don’t worry; in this case, Alondra will repair or replace any defective parts as soon as possible.
Never discard the packaging until you verify that the items are in perfect condition and match your order.
Also, do not unwrap bedding items, such as mattresses, before making sure they match your order, as these cannot be returned or exchanged once the protective cover is removed, except in cases of manufacturing defects, of course. In such cases, Alondra will replace the item with a new one.
If there are no issues at the time of delivery, we understand that you are satisfied with the received products. That’s why we ask you to sign the delivery slip once assembly is complete.
We aim for your satisfaction but can only address damages that occur before or during delivery, not those that occur afterward. Thank you for your understanding.
Some items are not assembled
Certain small or children’s decorative products, such as lamps, shelves, hangers, etc., are delivered unassembled and may be shipped directly to your home through express delivery services, along with mattresses, nursing chairs, and textiles.
Note that assembly companies do not handle electrical work or wall drilling.
Ensure we have clear access to the chosen room
Please make sure that the size of the items you’ve ordered will not cause issues when transporting them to the room where you want them placed. For example, doorways, hallways, elevators, landings, etc.
Consider this, check measurements, and inform us of any access issues: poor flooring, etc.
When ordering the service, please also notify us if your home is remote, difficult to access by vehicle, or in an area with restricted loading and unloading times.
We greatly appreciate any information you can provide, as it helps us avoid future issues and ensures that your furniture will be assembled on the chosen day.
Once it’s delivered, we leave everything in your hands ;)
At Alondra, we are responsible for ensuring the product arrives in perfect condition through a specialized company, at the address you specify.
After delivery, if there have been no issues and everything has arrived safely, we cannot assume responsibility for deterioration, damage, or loss.
