New evolutionary cradle with Montessori house roof 3 in 1 Alondra

We are super excited about this beautiful novelty! Alondra's new evolutionary crib can offer you three different options as standard in just one piece of furniture : crib, junior bed and Montessori bed. Perfect to cover various stages of growth of your little one.

However, the evolutionary cradle with a Montessori house roof has one more use option . Which? Well, optionally, it can become a co-sleeping crib by purchasing the Alondra co-sleeping system.

Characteristics of the 70x140 cm Montessori 4 in 1 evolutionary crib

• 70x140 cm cot convertible in up to 4 stages : cot, co-sleeping cot, Montessori bed and junior bed. 
• As standard it is 3 in 1 : cot, junior bed and Montessori bed. 
• Optional co - sleeping cot . To convert it into co-sleeping, you need to purchase the co-sleeping kit separately . 
• In the junior bed stage you can optionally add a lower drawer .
• The crib is made of MDF in a matt lacquered finish .
• It has 6 bed base heights in the cradle and co-sleeping cradle stage.
  

Transformation of the evolutionary crib 70x140 cm Montessori 4 in 1

As we have already anticipated, originally the Montessori crib is a 3-in-1: crib, junior bed and Montessori bed . But, Alondra's Design team thinks of everything, so they've prepared it to accommodate four different stages of baby's growth . So they have added the co-sleeping option within their possibilities.

Co-sleeping crib stage of 70x140 cm (from 0-1 year approx.)

During the baby's first year you can have the crib in the double room and practice co-sleeping , if you wish . Although you should take into account its dimensions (70x140 cm) to make sure you have the necessary space.

For this reason, the evolutionary co-sleeping crib incorporates up to six bed base heights . This way it will be completely aligned with the parents' bed, it adapts perfectly! 

As you know, this new Montessori co-sleeping crib needs the co-sleeping kit to be able to fulfill this function properly and safely . So, when you buy it, you should make sure to include this co-sleeping system in your order.

70x140 cm crib stage (0-1 year approx.)

If instead of co-sleeping, you want to use it as a conventional 70x140 cm crib , you can place it directly in the newborn's room. Its design as a Montessori baby crib will give a magical touch to the little one's room and will serve as a preparation for the Montessori environment if you decide to practice this philosophy. 

Alondra's advice  

At Alondra we always recommend, for the baby's first six months, to use a mini-crib . This little bed will allow you to always have the little one close and, if it incorporates wheels, you can move it around the house without any problem.  

The new Montessori house crib incorporates six different bed base heights . When the baby is younger , you can use a higher position to have better access to it . When he gets a little older and moves more, you can improve his safety by lowering the box spring where he will lie.

Montessori bed stage of 70x140 cm (from 1-3 years approx.)

The new crib is convertible into a Montessori bed . The best thing is that it is not necessary to purchase any separate kit to transform it. Its mechanism is very simple! You simply have to remove the railing and lower the mattress to the lowest position . 

Et voilà ! You have turned your crib into a wonderful Montessori walk-in bed!

Stage junior bed of 70x140 cm (from 3 to 5 years approx.)

In order to make the most of the Montessori house crib, once your little angel has enough independence, it can be converted into a beautiful and functional 70x140 cm junior bed . 

No additional kit is required . To convert it you must remove the railing and raise the lower border to one of the higher positions . This is how you get a junior bed with the highest box spring. 

But this is not all! Optionally, a lower drawer can be purchased . In this way , there will be two different compartments , one for the bed and the other for the drawer. This will give you two additional benefits : it will elevate the beauty of the furniture by covering the gap below and it will add more storage space and, therefore, more functionality to the little bed.
